I am just now realizing that I have a lot of pet peeves. Enjoy my complaining!
(In no certain order…)
*Commercials in which people yell. (Why is it they feel they need to yell? Is it supposed to make me excited for their product? Cause really it just makes me want to change the channel.)
*Sales people who follow you around the furniture store. (They are like stalkers! It is scary. I just feel so intimidated by their never-ending presence that I just can't buy anything there. I do like those stores that let you browse on your own, that's where we've bought the bulk of our large furniture purchases.)
*My unmade bed. (On those days that I just can't get around to doing getting it made, it drives me crazy all day. There is just something about a well-made bed. It makes the whole room seem so much better.)
*People who swear in public (where my children can hear them, especially if they are swearing at their children.)
*Beer at baseball games. (I am just so frightened it is going to spill all over the diaper bag, or the kids, or me.)
*The phrase “24/7.” (I was really hoping that phrase would go the way of all annoying phrases, but it has stayed put over the years. And unfortunately is expanding! AHHHH! Is anyone else sick of it?)
*News that isn’t news. (I am sure you know what I am talking about. Those "news" stories that they think everyone needs to know but really is either glorified gossip or some sort of scare tactic. I don't need to hear most of what they have on the news these days.)
*Bloggers who are so clever and amusing that I can't stop reading. (I just know I will never live up to them.)

SUMMER! I finally checked my email and I found your blog address! We have a lot of the same pet peeves... The worst is the salesman for me... even when you say- we are just looking and we will let you know if we have any questions- and they still linger, I get paranoid. EEEEKKKK! It is good to see you are well!
I'm with you on the yelling commercials! Door to door salesmen now do more than annoy...they frighten me. There was a very bad incident involving a salesmen in AF two days ago very near where we used to live. I have since asked Dad to install a peep hole in our front door. When I used to have the occasional get-away time from our children it always took me a few hours to get back in step at home...mostly because I got used to the quiet and coming back to the noise took a little getting used to all over again... especially when you would all greet us and try to talk all at the same time. Ha ha.
