Chemical Warfare

We had to resort to a fogger to get rid of the ants. We discovered they were nesting somewhere either in the walls of the kitchen or behind the cabinets.

So Tuesday evening we left the house in the early evening after starting the fogger. We took the kids to dinner and a movie ("Prince Caspian"). By the time the movie was over it had been over four hours and we could return home.

The kids went straight to bed while Hubby and I spent several more hours putting the kitchen back together. (We had to take EVERYTHING out of there, what a pain!).

But, NO MORE ANTS!! We haven't seen a single one.

I didn't like having to take such drastic measures, but that's what it took, at least this time.

We had to do something even worse this year. We had to start doing dishes when we dirtied them. It's horrible.

We have huge carpenter ants in our area and have an exterminator come out quarterly to treat the outside of the home to prevent invasion.

You need Jon's bug killer. It's odorless (and non-toxic), which in my opinion is the worst part of the bug foggers. That and having to move all the stuff.
